Arya's Journey to Achieving Her Dreams
From a young age, Arya dreamed of flying. At age four, she admired Rosamma, a trapeze artist at the circus, and wished to fly through the air like her. By age eight, her inspiration was Kalpana Chawla, and she even wore an orange space suit day and night, preparing herself to be an astronaut. At twelve, she idolized Amelia Earhart and built a model plane for a school project, earning second prize. She even got a haircut like her hero.
As Arya grew older, she learned about Indian pioneers like Angulia Bai, Kumudammal, and Sarla Thakral, who inspired her further. Determined to fly, Arya worked hard, saved money for flying school, and spent years studying and training.
At eighteen, Arya dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot, inspired by Bhawana, Avani, and Mohana—the first women fighter pilots of India. Through her determination, Arya eventually achieved her dream and became a pilot.

Each one has a dream. My dream is to become a teacher. I want to be a teacher because I love my teacher and I want to be like him. He gets love and respect from all the students. Even the parents of the students and the local people respect him. A teacher has a big responsibility. They say that a child's mind is like a clean slate. Whatever is written on that slate will remain with him for his life. It is the teachers that write the most on that slate. Thus teachers mold people's character.
By becoming a teacher I will teach my students how to be good citizens working for the welfare not only of their people and country but the whole of humanity.

Arya always wanted to fly. When she was 4, she wanted to be Rosamma. Rosamma was a trapeze artist in a circus. Rosamma wore shiny clothes and people clapped for her when she performed. When she was 8 she wanted to be Kalpana Chawla, the Indian born American astronaut, who was the first Indian-origin woman astronaut. When Arya was 12, she wanted to be Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot who wanted to circumnavigate the world. When she was 18, she wanted to be a fighter pilot. Finally she becomes a pilot and we see her proudly piloting the plane in which her mother and brother were travelling.

Today was a dream come true! I always wanted to fly, and today I did it. I put on my pilot uniform and sat in the cockpit of a real airplane. It was so exciting and amazing.
I took off and flew through the sky. I saw the world from up high. It was breathtaking. I can’t believe I’m actually a pilot. Amma and Raju were also present in my plane today. I am sure they were also really enjoying the flight. I’m so grateful for this opportunity. I can’t wait to fly more planes and explore the world.
