Summary

Michael loved basketball but struggled because he was shorter than the other players, especially Mark, the tallest boy on the court. One day, after losing a game, Michael asked his mother how he could grow taller. She jokingly told him to put salt in his shoes and be patient. Inspired, Michael practiced hard every day, wearing his "salted" shoes, hoping to grow taller.

Months passed, but Michael didn’t grow any taller. Feeling discouraged, he stopped going to the park with his brothers. His father reminded him that success doesn’t come from height but from practice, determination, and giving his best.

Encouraged, Michael joined a game at the park. Despite Mark’s taunts, Michael used his skills and confidence to score the winning shot for his team. This victory taught Michael that hard work and perseverance matter more than physical size. From then on, he continued to work hard and never gave up.
